For entrepreneurs and business owners

A Business Strategy Game for Entrepreneurs

Many business owners know the feeling: revenue grows, but everything still depends on you. Strategy Masters lets founders practise the step from doing the work to building a system — in one evening, without real-world risk.

Is Strategy Masters suitable for entrepreneurs?

Yes. Entrepreneurs are the primary audience. The game was created by an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience and has been tested with real entrepreneurs around real tables.

Hiring is easy. Hiring the right people is not.

Employees differ greatly in how much they contribute. Some bring far more than they cost, some barely break even, and some cost more than they bring. Players learn to see the total cost of a person against the revenue they actually bring in.

Profitability, not just revenue

Revenue alone does not win. Every month, costs are paid from the bank account; a loss reduces it and a company can go bankrupt. Winning requires both 1,000,000 in revenue and 250,000 in profit.

Building a management structure

Your best employees can be promoted to managers, and the company can have only one CEO. With too many managers and no CEO, efficiency drops across the company — a small version of a problem many growing businesses meet.

Reducing owner dependency

At the start you work in your own company. To win, you must step back entirely: the company has to reach its targets while you do no personal work in it.

Entrepreneur evenings

4–6 players at one table is a particularly good format for entrepreneur evenings: a single game — usually around 30–45 minutes — followed by a discussion about what worked and why.
